T_At the airport
T_In general, our airport check-in counters will open 2.5 hours prior to departure, and will close 40 minutes prior to departure.
T_Please note that check-in counter opening and closing times may vary by location, and are subject to local airport restrictions. T_You are advised to check the specific T_airport information pageT_ of your departure airport for the latest information.
T_If you have check-in baggage, please arrive at the airport check-in counter at least 60 minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure.
T_If you travel without check-in baggage and have your printed boarding pass, you may directly proceed to the boarding gate at least 30 minutes prior to flight departure.
T_In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, in-town check-in services at Hong Kong Station, Kowloon Station and Tsing Yi MTR Station are suspended until further notice.
T_The check-in counters at Hong Kong International Airport are located at aisle G of Terminal 1.

T_Upon arrival at the airport, you may find the gate information on the flight information display system.
T_Normal situation
T_If you have completed the online check-in, the following applies for:
T_● T_ Passengers without check-in baggage: T_Please bring your self-printed boarding pass(es) with you and arrive at the boarding gate no later than 30 minutes before scheduled flight departure.
T_● T_ Passengers with check-in baggage: T_You must arrive at the airport check-in counter no later than 60 minutes before scheduled flight departure.
T_Pandemic situation
T_In view of the global COVID-19 pandemic, we require all passengers to arrive at the airport check-in counter at least 60 minutes before scheduled flight departure for collection of boarding pass(es), required document check and baggage check-in.
T_In general, your passport needs to be valid for 6 months from date of departure. T_However, requirements may vary by country. T_Please verify the passport validity requirements of your destination country when preparing for your flight.
T_Depending on the nature of your travel and requirements of your destination country, the documents to be presented upon check-in may vary.
